the harp in the basement torture

yesterday I was reviewing some scenes of "The Blues Brothers" the genius of John Landis film that tells the story of the brothers Jake and Elwood Blues. orphanage during the conversation with Curtis (Cab Calloway), Elwood remembers when the same Curtis's singing songs and playing Elmore James the harp in the cellar.

the harp in the basement? strange, no? and, in fact, is a tremendous blunder of the translator: harp, of course, mean harp, but in the parlance of the blues harmonica. the original sentence, however, did not lend itself to be misunderstood: "Elmore James tunes singing and blowing the harp for us down there."

how do you blow a harp?
